Long ago, in a far-off land, there was a lost defender known only by her legendary reputation. Her name was whispered in hushed tones by those who knew of her
brave deeds, but she remained a mystery to most.
As an experiment, I investigated several fabrics and modern styles. I have taken traditional African print fabric and transformed it into an array of breathable pieces meant for any and every body type. This mixture gives each element of the sculpture a distinctive glow that adjusts to various lighting conditions. With an emphasis on bold colors and strong monochrome designs, the presentation is a raging reminder to live out loud.
This project is a continuation of my Prototype series, and it is experimentation of advanced concepts in a completely digital world. I incorporated all of my previous life experiences and skills into one result, a completely digital 3D concept project with a sustainable vision, as part of my continuing fascination with 3D software and technologies.
Freedom, is a piece of fashion art thatlooks to the future while expressing a strong connection to historic African tradition. The design isinteresting and captivating. It is a solitary work that emphasizes African aesthetics, streetwear, andscience fiction.
